When the PTO switch is in the ON position, the solenoid valve is operated and the oil flows through the PTO solenoid valve to the PTO clutch pack to engage it. When PTO knob is engaged (pulled up) the light on the dash comes on but no PTO. There are two ways to engage the PTO: manual and electronic.
